Live aboard

In order to reach the best fishing spots and avoid losing time on long transports, we use catamarans that act as motherships to maximize fishing time on site. In the northern-and southern program you anchor in a weather protected bay, while in the western program you anchor out on the banks west of Nosy Be. However, there are often very calm conditions in this area and during the evening when you are back on the catamaran you can actually continue fishing on the western banks, for those who can’t get enough!

Each catamaran is equipped with 4 cabins so that each person gets their own cabin during the week. On board there is also a toilet and a shower, as well as a larger relaxation area with sofas and a sun deck where you can enjoy the sun or Madagascar’s magical starry sky in the evening over a cold drink.

On each catamaran, there is a chef who serves fresh local produced food and will make sure you will eat excellent food during your stay. Breakfast and dinner as well as appetizers after the fishing are served aboard the catamaran while lunch is served onboard the speedboat during the fishing day.

The catamarans are equipped with a double hull which makes them very stable and guarantees pleasant evenings even in moderate winds. They have both engines and sails for extra safety, as well as VHF radio, GPS, satellite phone, life jackets and first aid kits. 220V power sockets are also available on board to charge phone, cameras or computers during the week.

We also have the opportunity to book a larger catamaran if you want to stay together with a large group, up to 8 people where you sleep 2 in each cabin. AC is available in these cabins. Please contact us if you would like this arrangement, than we will return with price and further information.
