Climate

The climate in the Andaman Islands is sunny during the period November – May with average temperatures around 27-29 degrees. The islands are lush with lots of trees and vegetation. The terrain is hilly and the wildlife around the islands is fantastic. The sea is usually calm around the Andaman and there are rarely any strong winds to speak of, which entails really good conditions for fishing. During the period June – October the weather is cooler with more rain and wind. The fishing season extends from October – May with great fishing for GT (Giant Trevally) throughout the season with chances to catch many other species a well, while the yellowfin tuna starts to come in large numbers during March-May.
